Privacy Policy
1. Data controller
World Flow Tech Ltd. ("World Flow Tech" or "the company") is a company incorporated in the United Kingdom, registered with Companies House under number 16871957 and with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. World Flow Tech is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy-related question, you may write to contact@worldflow.uk.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies exclusively to the corporate website worldflow.uk. It is an informational site: it presents the company and its thesis on urban-signal infrastructure. It does not include user registration, capture forms, a private area, or the sale of products or services.
The Scannivibe product is offered from a separate domain and application; data processing in that product is governed by its own terms and is not covered by this policy.
3. What data we process and for what purpose
Correspondence you send us
The site offers an email address as the only contact channel. If you choose to write to us, we will process the data you include in your message — your email address, your name if you provide it, and the content of the communication — for the sole purpose of reading and responding to your request and following up on any conversation that may follow from it.
Technical browsing data
As with any website, when serving pages our hosting provider processes technical data — IP address, browser type, date and time of the request — in server logs. These are used solely to operate the site, ensure its security, and diagnose incidents.
Usage analytics
To understand in aggregate how the site is used, we employ Vercel Web Analytics. This tool measures visits and page views without cookies, without persistent identifiers, and without tracking people across sites; the resulting data is anonymous and aggregated. We do not use profiling or advertising tracking.
4. Legal basis
We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation, the "UK GDPR"): to attend to the communications addressed to us and to maintain a secure and functional website. When you write to us, the processing of your message also responds to the handling of your own request.
5. Cookies
worldflow.uk uses only strictly necessary cookies: small files that the hosting platform may set to serve and protect the site. These cookies do not require consent because they are essential for the operation of the site. We do not install analytics, social-media, or advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings without substantially affecting navigation.
6. Providers and international transfers
To operate the site, we rely on providers acting as data processors:
- Hosting and analytics. The site is hosted on the infrastructure of Vercel Inc., based in the United States, which also provides the aggregated usage analytics described in section 3.
- Corporate email. The correspondence you send us is handled by IONOS, which provides the service from the United Kingdom and the European Union.
Email correspondence is processed in the United Kingdom and the European Union. Hosting of the site may involve the processing of technical data in the United States by Vercel; when an international transfer occurs, it is supported by the safeguard mechanisms provided for by applicable regulations, such as standard contractual clauses and, where appropriate, the corresponding adequacy framework.
7. Retention period
We retain correspondence for the time necessary to handle your request and thereafter for a reasonable period appropriate to the nature of the conversation and our legal obligations. Server technical logs are retained for short periods. Once those periods elapse, data is deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
You may exercise at any time the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and portability of your data. To do so, write to contact@worldflow.uk indicating the right you wish to exercise. We will handle your request within the legal time limits.
If you are in Mexico, the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties grants you the rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and objection (ARCO rights), which you can exercise through the same channel.
9. Supervisory authority
If you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with applicable regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In the United Kingdom this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO, ico.org.uk). We would be grateful, however, if you would first give us the opportunity to address your concern by writing to us.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or to applicable regulations. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its last-updated date.
